    hey diablo 2 community i was thinking why not increase more drop rates in icy areas on act 5 such as icy cellar,drifter cavern etc for the limited time till 1st january maybe.

    That would require multiple things such as: a lot of testing on a separate test realm, multiple patch editing sessions, other game drops will be affected in a negative way since the increase, there is no guarantee the exact mentioned areas will actually benefit from a bonus, multiple live restarts to enable-disable all of this, besides diablo isn't really the kind of game that implies a lot of back and forth patch changes. We'll rather stick to seasonal in-game events ran by the GMs, therefore such suggestions are welcome.
