Connection Issue

    So whenever i go to connect to the server is says Unable to identify version. This is with a complete fresh install, ive tried the auto patcher and the manual method but both reveal the same issue. I followed the steps to a T.
    Fresh Install > 1.1.3c Patch > Custom Patch Files > Edit Realm > Error Connecting.

    Read this thread and use the search button of this forum as well with the error you get.

    I recommend on doing a fresh reinstall but keep in mind to delete the registry files as well (most people don't do that) and reinstall Diabo II in a different folder, if possible a separate HDD partition too.
    Also set the game to Run as Administrator and in case the antivirus is blocking your connection add the D2 folder inside the exceptions list.
