Well if he can and you can't and it also happens with maphack off then there has to be a problem on your D2 side. Try re-installing D2 perhaps.

Oh! and by the way there is nothing "Of Course" about you having the server patch.

This time I managed to enter act5 without the maphack on. But when I started it game immediately crashed. This means I can't use the maphack in act5 ? Or is there any solution ?

Well Digimortal, the fact that your friend has no trouble with that you may want to try a reinstall, as Coldet suggested. Try do it into a different HDD partition
Also I suggest you delete previous D2 registry files and run a registry cleaner such as https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download (FREE version works like a charm)

PS: Nice to see a MU gamer playing some oldschool D2 inside our community :)

5 minutes ago I entered act5 with a diferent maphack. Than had to close the game to configure the maphack suittable for me and I can't enter act5 again xD

I'll try and use CCleaner now.

Gix : sometimes I love going back to D2, it's one of my favorite games ever. Since the ladder has been restarted lately and there are many more online it's time for me to play a bit while waiting for this file update you mentioned about Blizzard MU ;). Also there are few good D2 servers nowadays and this one seem to be the best !

Sorry for double posting , but I didn't see an "Edit" buton on my post.

CCleaner didn't help. I decided to reinstall game. Now its even more f***** up. Instant errors after doubleclicking the .exe

I see that you missunderstund something. First of all you should uninstall game before you runned CCleaner and then install it again. So...
    1. Uninstall Diablo 2,
    2. Delete game directory if something left there,
    3. Use CCleaner (registry tool),
    4. Reboot system (just in case...)
    5. Install game and patches,
    6. Reboot system again before first run.

Also try tu experiment with compatibility. Most guides suggest to use windows xp compatibility mode. I can't use that becouse of "We have a big error here". Mark "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition". You should use the same compatibility mode for game and mh.

or install Ubuntu (or other linux system) and use wine. It is probbably less problematic ^^

I managed to run the game after 2 days of reinstalling and stuff. What I did:

    1.Installed the game
    2.Installed 1.13c patch
3.Added the servers gateway with gatewayeditor
4.Made a shortcut of Diablo II.exe on my desktop
5.Right click on that shortcut > Compatibility > Win XP SP3 . Also Run as Administrator.
6.Disabled DEP for that Shortcut ( My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Performance Settings > Data Execution Prevention tab > Turn ON DEP for all programs and services except those I select: > selected that shortcut of DII > Apply , OK, OK . I think reboot is needed. )
7.My MapHack shortcut is also with Compatibility of Win XP SP3 and is runed as Administrator.

The only bad thing is that I can't use Loader , D2 Multi or Sandboxie. I use my friend for this :D

I hope that helped someone else!

Meh... no idea what the F is going on. I usualy just close my laptop when i go to sleep ( this means my laptop is on "sleep" mode ) . But last night I decided to shut it down. Andd this morning when I tried to run D2 I have the same problem. Unhandeled exception : acess violation c0000005 or whatever right after I double click on the shortcut.
