Diablo II Error

    I got this error everytime I click battlenet on diablo 2

    Hey guys we got big error here :(

    Can some1 help?

    Ok I've downloaded the torrent and install it.. And patch it till 1.12a and then 1.13c but yet again I still have that stupid error when clicking battlenet it stuck at checking version then poof! Hey Guys we have big error here :(.. OMG ive installed diablo2LOD 5x alrdy T_T

    Patch it till 1.12a?

    You only had 1 patch 1.13c

    Use a different partition when you install your D2. Install only the 1.13c provided on our website, then the installer or .zip patch. Run europebattlenet.exe

    When I installed the LOD its patch 1.07 but when I run patch 1.13c it wont patch.. Saying Game.exe is not the same etc.. :(

    Impossible

    Steps you have to follow by using the torrent link i provided above

    1. Download torrent content
    2. Download MagicDisc or use smth simillar to load CD images
    3. Load diablo2 install CD, install the game and load the cinematics, etc when asked during installation
    4. Load diablo2 LoD CD, install the game
    5. Download blizzard 1.13c patch , patch the game
    6. Download europebattlenet installer or .zip archive and extract content inside d2 installation folder
    7. run europebattlenet.reg to make sure the gateway of our server was added
    8. run europebattlenet.exe to play the game
    9. create an ingame account
    10. playing the game and having fun


    Also you may try this torrent which has D2 + LoD patched to 1.13c already

    Ok downloaded the Direct Play torrent.. But still stuck at checking versions.. then poof "Hey Guys We got big error here :(" sigh..

    I was able to connect, but I have a problem. I have an error in the game, and I have something with a picture of a color is not as it should be .. I do not think it's because of my video card. Who can help?

    An error in patching is most likely due to multiple installs, or erroneous registry entries. Make sure all copies of Diablo 2 are uninstalled and are not listed on your add/remove programs (or Programs and Features, depending on Windows version) control panel.

    Make sure all MPQ files are in your Diablo 2 folder, including d2xmusic and d2xvideo.

    If I recall correctly, the "Hey guys" error is a D2 loader error, not one belonging to Diablo 2. Based on where the error happens, it sounds like the crash is being caused by the version check. Try running directly from game.exe in your Diablo 2 folder, and see if the crash still happens.

    I had a similar experience that might be the same thing.

    What fixed the colors being messed up was i went to properties for the executable that loads the game and then to compatibility, then checked all the boxes and run compatibility mode for windows XP service pack 2.

    Guys I know it's digging hardly, but I've got the error in version check too. I'm playing normal while running game.exe, but I would like to use loader just for mh. It doesn't work on normal diablo at least for me. I did all steps given by you people :(

    choose DiabloII.exe (NOT Diablo II Loader v1.13c.exe), Run as Administrator.

    Okay. I managed to run loader and everything FINE! All I had to do was just add every .exe from diablo, like all loaders, game.exe and diablo2.exe to DEP(Data Execution Prevent) exception list. Now it works good. Hope this will help everyone else with that problem :)
