Solved Failing to Connect

@anglach, that's because you are either missing our custom server patch that's mandatory in order to create and join other games or you installed it outside of the game folder.
Visit http://europebattle.net/d2/join and follow the connect instructions by making sure you install the europebattle patch inside of your game folder and overwrite the old files.

 

If you can't create or join games with any characters this normally means you are missing the realm patch or it was not installed where it should be. Are you sure you extracted the files inside of your game folder? Do you run the game through our custom launcher? If so, do you get a splash image of the gameguard when you run the game?

 

That's odd, check your PM. Maybe your game port [4000] is blocked.
Diablo2 requires both tcp ports 6112 and 4000 to be open


Problem found, the game port [4000] is blocked on the router side so needs to be open so the game has permission to access the internet.
