Game doesnt run. BIG ERROR HERE

    I played it perfectly yesterday with all the administrator rights, under xp sp3, and disable desktop composition. Now, i can't enter game, it disables desktop composition and when it tries to enter gives the "Hey guys, we got a big error here." message.
    I'm running windows 7 32 bit nvidia 9800 gt intel pentium dual core duo 2.97 ghz


    I reinstalled game, same damn problem :-(

    I've managed to enter game with Data execution prevention. I stil have the colour problem, í've installed the installer.

    Please avoid using CAPS inside the thread title and start using the EDIT button.

    Whenever this happens i suggest you to completly uninstall the client and reinstall it again. It's an old game afterall.
    I would also suggest you to switch back to Windows XP SP2 or try setting the executable files to that, if possible.

    I was having the same problem and i fixed it by changin the path. Dont forget to change the registry key.

    d2 is not stable in full screen for windows 7/8

    in 7 you can run the video test and choose one and see if it works by trial and error

    on windows 8 the video test doesnt work >.> so you will have to play in windowed.
