Solved Game Guard issue - Connecting, please wait

    Hi,

    I have some problem about game guard i think.
    I am using windows 10 64 mbit. and i dont have any AV. before i used to play in this server but now i couldnt run the game. I followed all instructions and i check all topics about same problem but still couldnt find out.
    I am trying to run the game but game guard freezing like that nothing happening. (compatibility done)

    Hello. Sounds like an UAC permission issue as exlained in here http://forum.europebattle.net/threads/fix-diablo-ii-common-errors.532466/
    Follow the steps below:
    1. Start the game
    2. While the gameguard splash image says `Connecting, please wait` open your task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL)
    3. Find GameGuard.tda process, right click it and select Properties > Security > then click Edit and Allow full control for users and administrator. Hit apply.
    4. Close the gameguard process from task manager and run the game again as Administrator
    5. Turn off UAC if necessary

    Are you able to access both http://europebattle.net and http://usabattle.net websites properly?
    Post a screenshot of your current UAC settings and another screenshot of the current permissions sent for GameGuard.tda process.
    Also follow the same steps for tdagg3.dll file inside your game folder and make sure you're logging in with an administrator account.

    PS: What was your account name on this realm?

    Yes i can access both without any problem.
    My account name is NeaN. It must be still active.

    Something has to block the access because I've only seen a similar problem once and replicating the steps I've posted above solved the issue. Kindly send me a private message with your skype username so I can remotely assist you on this, although the fact that your OS is in turkish will slow things down a bit.

    PS: I see you're currently in a game, did you by change managed to get in or that's just an open character you're using now?

    Hi Gix,
    I fix it now i am in. as you said my windows defender was bloking my game even i gave permission or turn off defender. but somehow im in now im not sure how did i fix but its working.
    Thanks for your help and for your time.
    Now i have only problem about Maphack i couldnt plugin sting mh. when i try game crashing.

    Glad to hear that, @nean and welcome back. I'm marking the thread as solved then.
    For maphack related questions please follow the instructions inside the readme.txt files that comes with the maphack archive from our tools page or use the forum search function located in the top right corner as you will find many threads discussing maphacks common errors and their fix. Most likely you'll require to run both the game and maphack as administrator and then it will work just fine.
