Solved Game Will Not Load

    Game.exe, Loader.exe, Usabattle.exe not working. In the beginning, I installed everything, and was able to play using Usabattle.exe, but only in a windowed version. I tried reinstalling to use Game.exe to play full screen. Since I reinstalled (three times now), I have not been able to get the game to work at all. I am getting an "Unhandled Exception: Access_Violation (c00000005) error now.

    I downloaded the right D2 package and the Usabattle Installer. I extracted the D2 folder to my desktop. I then extracted Usabattle Installer in the D2 folder. I changed the Game.exe, Loader.exe, and Usabattle.exe to run with the XP (SP2) and run as administrator options. Still nothing is working. Thanks for your time!

    EDIT1: I have Windows 7 Home Premium and no antivirus software.

    Hi there and welcome aboard @Kothra
    Make sure you check this thread out because your problem is very common and answered many times.
    And usually game will open in fullscreen only with Glide.
    When re/instaling the game make sure you do a clean one. and preferably not in Program Files.
    Check if you have the right files to instal the game + patches . Downloads can be found Here or Here

    Got it working. DEP was blocking it for some reason. Glide helped me a ton! Thank you!

    he said DEP was blocking, you can find default settings for DEP here
