Solved General Questions about D2 mechanics // Proposal of scheduled Duels&TeamDuels

Hello everybody I'm hooked on D2 again and loving this server! Has the good d2 feel to it without the bots and dupes . As I farm along for gear and levels whilst pondering the latest and greatest build / gear setup, I've come across a few questions in my mind that those in the know might answer:

1.) With items that have ctc amp. damage - does the -100% physical resistance apply before or after the strike causing the procurement?

2.) Is the attribute damage bonus for javelins 0.80*str + 0.50*dex? - and if the answer is no what is it?

3.) Can any and all items excluding: keys / uber organs / torches / anni's / quest-items / essences / tokens / etc.... (if I am missing any of those types of items) drop from any Tc87 area? Or are there specific items that can only drop from specific areas? ((If this is supposed to be a mystery then ok))

4.) Is there anyway to increase magic resistance besides the 10% from a safety shield? (aka - the hammerdins nightmare )

1. you can see the curse over the monster. you/ your mercenary has to attack for x% chance to cast the curse.
2. can you post a screenshot? i dont get what you mean
3. they dont drop all items but only tc87 areas like flameriver, worldstone etc can drop diadem,corona, sacred armor etc. (for specific items google "diablo 2 drop calculator").
4. i never paid attention to magic resistance

Keys are dropped from Countess, Summoner & Nihlathak(Terror key, Hate key, & Destruction key.)

The Organs can be gathered in the portals that you create with the keys you obtain ( put one of each key in your cube and transmute them and the portal will open, there you kill the sub-boss for the organ piece). After you gather all organs you can open to uber tristram to kill all 3 bosses (Mephisto, Diablo & Baal), if you kill all of them a torch will drop from the lass boss you kill.

Annihilius drops from the uber Diablo clone, he spawns when you sell a stone of jordan ring in any shop in a hell game. He appears at the first place of you unique monsters you go to and replaces those monsters, so for example if you go at eldritch, he will not be there because Diablo will spawn there.

Quest items, stay quest items.

Essences drop from Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo & Baal (Yellow, Blue, Red & Green). If you gather 1 essence of each color, you can transmute them in your cube and make a token out of it.
