Getting GameGuard error.

    This is the error message I'm getting. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Did what is said in that thread and didn't help. I already had the file which is spoken of there. I haven't reinstalled windows or anything, it's the same setup I used to play on yesterday.

    Don't know if this will help but:
    - I could play yesterday morning,
    - Closed game at some point,
    - Later tried to start the game again (haven't retarted/shut down/log offed the pc) but I had that error.
    - Thought it's some bug and if I restart it would be OK.(didn't restart)
    - Tried to play again today - same error.

    If you could play just fine yesterday then probably the antivirus might have quarantined that file as the error telling you that the dynamic library file is missing.
    1. Reinstall the realm patch while antivirus is turned off.
    2. Add the entire D2 folder to your antivirus exceptions list if you haven't done it yet and turn back the antivirus.

    Let us know if it worked.

    I don't use an antivirus. I tried reinstalling realm patch yesterday though, still same error.

    Reinstalled Diablo. Now it works. You can close this thread.

    Good to hear. Most of the weird errors are fixed with a reinstall, still something deleted the GG library file and probably you should investigate that.
