Glide and server custom patch

Is custom patch affecting glide?Glide is a program for customization D2 graphic.Any ideas?

 

I dont know what you are asking but. Custom patch doesnt affect glide. You may need to run vidtest(inside diablo2 folder) and choose glide option when it lets you.

 

Nope, it doesn't. I've been using glide since before I started playing here with no discrepancies.

 

I'll also confirm that glide works without any effect from the patch

 

Thanks for response.My problem is that game has like 2 fps and there is a purple texture all around the screen.

 

Since we're talking about glide here,I have the same problem too.This started just recently,when my fps drops <10 during tele.I have glide,I ran the vid test,selected glide and also copied the 3dfx file in d2 directory,but I still have this problem.Is there some config for glide I need to do?had like 100fps contant before..

 

Don't know if that is exactly relevant to the problem but have you made sure the Compatibility tab of the D2 shortcut has Windows XP SP2 selected as well as run as administrator? And that you are running the game in windowed mode? I remember in the past that used to be the solution to most of my d2 problems.
