Solved Help me to fix the error's plz

My hc character just died during this error...
I guess it will happen again since the game just keeps crashing randomly.

Hey guys, we'w got a big error here...
I really don't want my next character to die to this...

Please spare life, help

 

Mmh got that error a few times too (lost 3 ber and a few good uniques to it, while dumping stuff on floor to reorganise stash.) One thing I can tell, do no play with maphack/ fullscreen that causes the crash more frequently. I believe that no matter what, the crash is caused by the Mh. I could be wrong so please correct me if I am. Reinstalling the game didn't sort the problem out for me, I still get the odd crash but not playing full screen definitely helps.

To be fair, I am in the same position, experience regular crashes and if my suspicions are wrong about mh, I'd welcome a few tips to fix it.
Thought that the loader could be in cause as well but d2 loader crashes displays the "guys we've got a problem" msg, so I can't find much else to blame.

Playing in window mode seems to help, but still, then it comes up whit shitload of other problems like it's dangerous to play with since it just occupies part of my screen, and when teleporting i constantly click outside of screen and windows notification appear..
Not that good in HC when you are surrounded by monsters and need to fly away

So far i will die both way eventually...

One cannot play HC without maphack, expecting to survive

 

There is a way to make the D2 window have permament focus (this means that the mouse is "captured" inside the D2 window). Don't recall exactly how it's done, think it's an argument in the d2loader launch path, but you should google for it and I'm sure you'll find the solution.

About the "We got a big error here", I'm positive that it's a d2loader version issue. Try extracting the one in the sticky from the Help Desk section, it worked for me (getting only few random errors nowadays). Don't forget to apply compatibility settings (XP SP2) and check Run as admin, if running on Win7, 8 or Vista.

Then test, see how it's going and come back here and drop a word.
