Help with maphack

The Loader.exe it's the same you had it before (it uses the game.exe executable, it's not a standalone file) and all the executable files you extracted are the same, the only file which has changed is the .dll so this means you didn't patched it correctly all over the end and the windows permissions might be one of the reasons especially since nowdays it makes things more complicated for beginners thanks to that UAC lame secure system. Also, maphack has nothing to do with that so if it doesn't work then it's just another weird moment of this game and the incompatibility between games, hacks and new operating systems. Do a fresh reinstall as I'm sure you messed up things there. Also you should start reading the "Read Me.txt" guides inside the extracted files as you don't need the integrated maphack since the normal one should work just fine for you. Maphack usually has issues on windows 8 due to being a crappy os. If you got W10 make sure to run as administrator and follow the right steps that are already explained on website.

Start the game with the shortcut you get on desktop since that's why we made it easier to find, keep in mind that some antiviruses will require the Diablo II folder to be added inside the exceptions list and maphack needs to be started as administrator besides being an old hack never ment to be supported by this game and not being developed for many years already so you're at the mercy of your os and your own computer. Anything can influence the functionality of an old non-developed hack such as new programs that you installed in your computer lately, windows updates, files changes inside your diablo folder, any other files changes inside your pc, registry changes and updates and so on ; Best way of fixing game glitches is usually through a fresh reinstall which takes a couple minutes so start from there because sometimes tracking for issues requires more technology knowledge and may not even be worth it.

I didn't knew that explaining in-depth and telling you to read the Read Me.txt is some kind of lecture or being talked down. Most people don't actually read that as you should know and the file contains important info. The way you interpret things is wrong and since you also didn't mentioned the OS either I gave you some proper explanation. As for the older version, since you played 1.11 you should already know that maphack is a cheat that is outdated and it's causing a lot of issues with this game. If you're talking about sting, there aren't many versions of it, just people re-working over a certain version. MH Compatibility depends on a lot of things and guessing them is not what we do here. Just like the mh we added works perfectly fine for me and many others, it may not work for you or some other people. The older version you found may work for you and not for others just like it may not work after a simple reboot or a software installation. It's not like we can guess the compatibility for everyone and add all the possible mh versions over the internet just like I can't guess if you're a beginner or not in order to phrase a different explanation for a more advanced knowledge and avoid your sarcasm which was unnecessary.
