Hey everyone!!

I think its a little late for me to post this but Id still want to introduce myself xD im maces and i have been playing for over a month tho i havnt played consistenly becos of my internship. Last time i played d2 was when i was 9 way back 2003 on single player. Its my 1st time playing the game online and i have to say that i was shocked that many peeps still play this game Currently have an 87 nec and a 60 sorc. Tho ive had succes with soloing hell baal w/ my nec, i totally fail in playing sorc! Cant even get past hell act1! The mobs just hit too hard and my toon cant take a punch, ive used up all my respecs and now i think id just reroll another. If anyone can give me some advice I would be very thankful! (y)

You say your sorc is lvl 60? Can you tell me your gear and what kind of sorc you are as well as mercenary gear?

You can also do a quick Google search for Diablo 2 1.13 sorc builds and it will give you a good idea of what your shooting for.

 

Thanks for the reply endo. My sorc got to 60+ lvls bcos i rushed her with my nec xD i havnt got any nice gear to use but i do have some nice stuff to use atm like vipermagi for armor, magefist, soj ring only 1 tho and my merc is way underlvled. And yeah i will check out some guides out there tho i really dont want to follow a cookie cutter build and want to have some fun i guess id have to suck it up for now and make some progress xD. Btw i built her to be a frozen orb spamming sorc with lightning to zap cold immune monsters..it did well for me on nightmare but i just cant survive hell D: teyh just hit too hard. I tried energy shield but didnt solve my problem entirely.

Hi,and welcome,Maces.best thing would be,strip your merc,if he has anything valuable on,and just buy another one,that is closer to your level.You can even take your old Merc outside (after stripping him),and let him get WHACKED.lol as for gear.best thing would be to keep doing Hell Countess for runes (she can drop up to a Lo) and Hell Travincal,for High runes and items (I usually find Vex,Ohm,and occasionally Ber or Jah there,as well as Eshutas,Arachnids Mesh,and other stuff that is helpful for Sorces.)
