How to gain fast xp?

Hello,
when my 1st char was rushed i reached hell baal in no time, and i was high lvl...75 or so.
Now i'm trying to make an alt, and rush him with my sorc (1st char)
The problem is that he cannot gain lvl fast and beeing so low level he cannot kill anything.
Now i am lvl 23 at the end of nm but i cannot reach baal nm because of the ancient, and i think i need lvl 40 to kill them and it will take forever
So how do you lvl fast? How is that possible that when i was rushed i reached hell baal in no time and i was like lvl 75?
Can anyone explain this to me?

lvls:

1-24: play alone, gain exp, by the end of act 1 (1 hour or less) you will have lvl 24.

now get rushed normal difficulty

24-25: ancients (normal)

get rushed nightmare until chaos sanctuary act 4

25-40+: chaos sanctuary with some1 rushing and killing everything

you will get lvl 40 easy for nightmare ancients.

Get hellrushed and start making baalruns.

 

I may be wrong but If I'm not mistaken I was the dude that rushed your first char.

Hammer has the general gist of things, but I'd like to add a few extra pointers.

Most Of the time I will run ahead of new characters with a "Windy" Druid allowing them to level really fast.
1. The rushee must be a minimum of level 8 before a high level character is even in the vicinity or he will not get exp.
2. Level 14 before you go to Andariel.
3. Level 20 by the time you reach Act 3 otherwise you will be under levelled by the time you reach ancients. You MUST be 24 for maximum exp gain.
4. If all else fails do Normal Cows till you hit level 24 then do Ancients. Characters MUST be level 20 before they enter Cows or the exp gain will be pathetically slow.

A Level 25 character in the Normal Baal Throne will normally hit level 36 to 38 in that one single run. You need level 40 for NM Ancients. A basic NM rush will push you character to level 58ish which is well above the required level 40. Then in Hell you will probably be level 70+ before you even get to the Ancients. 60 being the required level for Hell Ancients.

Depending on the proficiency of the rushee, I can normally get a character from level 8 to 70+ in just over an hour.

You can level on nm diablo.

 

Hi! I will post the steps I do for making a new char! I can create a new character and have it fully rushed to hell a5 and have it level 70-80 in 1-2 hours depending on my connection speed (lets be honest, I have a horrible connection so these steps could be faster for you!)

1. Have a: i) Chanter at the ready, ii) Bo barb at the ready (Bo barb for best hp bonus) iii) Rushing sorc iiii) access to characters to fill your game
2. Have your/your friends Chanter make a Portal to Dark Wood, get enchanted, then get Bo'd (Best result have the enchanter bo'd b4 you get enchanted for the +1 to all from BC) I use my own chanter, her chant gives my level ones around 2k damage? Make sure you have a short bow + arrows aswell, for lvl 15 a raven claw is amazing. If done correctly, You should be level 15-18 by the time you rescue cain!. You can then solo andariel with your character enchanted using raven claw very easily.
3. Have the Chanter/Bo barb/Rusher open a cow portal (You should have the leg considering you just did cain quest to get to 15-18 ) At level 20 ONE normal cow run if cleared with ONLY YOU in the cow level will get you Level 30 or 35!
4. Have the rusher rush you through all of normal.
5. Create a nightmare game and then get the rusher to help you save cain this time.
6. Open a nightmare cow portal this time, get enchanted and bo'd again. Solo the nightmare cows, If done correctly in a 5-8 player game (fill with other chars again) You should go from level 30-35 to level 60-65 .
7. Get rushed all the way through nightmare AND hell
8. Join some BH games

I always do this and it is very fast and successful. Like I said my connection is VERY slow at times, my ping goes up to 4000-5000 sometimes and this only takes me 1-2 hours per character.
