Solved Im having issues with a delay in game and lag, any suggestions?

    as the topic says. delay, random lag spikes. Im fine on regular battlenet, i went and tested other games to see if it was my internet and ran some ping tests and everything turned out great. I made sure my location was good using the gateway editor too.

    Try this action again, but later, and restart the game, maybe there are delays in the network.

    @brandon, comparing to regular bnet or other similar big names doesn't make much sense as official games such as bnet diablo, league of legends, etc are companies that use hundreds of servers across the globe and you will connect to the closest one which could be few miles away from your location. Anyway, I see you're living in US East so you should be good as per geolocation considering we have players from all over the world that don't have your issues. If you say you have random lag spikes then prolly the reason is your internet provider so you can wait and see if it gets better during the next few days then you'll know for sure. Routing issues are not uncommon, things like this can happen to anyone including big hosting companies and local providers.

    This can also occur when somebody in your network group is downloading from the Internet.
    Make sure that nobody in your household is not downloading anything and your antivirus is not updating.
