Solved Issues after closing everything

so I've installed the new patch and all, can join, play like before, but when I exit the game completely it's always a different issue, but the main one is that I get a full black screen, I can switch between tabs and close them (closing them does not make them disappear from the screen, but I can't click on them either), I cannot click anywhere on the screen and last time the Win 10 Focus Assist starter turning itself on and off, on and off, on and off super fast. I actually had to CTRL+ALT+DEL and click on Switch Accounts (I only have 1 account though) in order to re-load the whole windows, without actually restarting my PC. That seems to happen every time I close the entire game, after joining in from the new launcher. I've played before on the server, never had an issue like that.
Any idea what might be causing this?

I'm not running anything differently to be honest. I already had the files from the previous season, simply installed the new launcher, it created 2 new shortcuts and I run the Diablo II Europebattle one, as oppose to the Diablo II Launcher. I've always played on Windowed Mode, as full screen on a 24" is quite large. I didn't need to change anything it automatically started on windowed mode. I played for a while, decided to leave and noticed that the window didn't disappear when I closed the game. What I was last seeing, before closing it was left in the middle of the screen. The game itself was shut, but I was unable to click anywhere, only able to close things who also froze where they were opened and swap between apps with ALT+TAB. My mouse didn't allow me to do anything and after a few seconds it all went black so as I said I had to log off in order to reset the system. This is how it was set up to run, I haven't touched a thing on it. Twice it went like that with the 2nd time making the "Focus assist" going mad and out of my control and it again led to a black screen. I haven't logged in since then.
