Notice of short-term absence

Hello everyone.

I guess now is as good of a time as ever to tell you all around the end of the month I will be gone for a short period. Here in my part of Canada there is no work around, its a known issue even on the news that Nova Scotia is dying, only industry is fishing and when your a young father you cant take that risk because I have someone who will rely on me for the rest of my life and taking the chance of your boat sinking any day I can not do. Everyone in this province is being forced to leave there homes and families if they want to make a decent living for themselves. Even the jobs such as Walmart, Mcdonalds, any fast-food is already booked up. You cant even score a minimum wage if you wanted too. This is why I was trying to make my living playing poker and carpentry but i am failing. Its getting harder and harder so I am forced to take the same chance as the rest of my community and fly/drive away to find work in Western Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia)

That is how the past few years here has been in a nutshell. I just thought id give you all a heads up because I am friends with most of the community because the people we have here are 90% respectable, mature and honest people so your friends list fills up quick. But as I said this will not by until the end of June so all the Events will still be in place and if other GM's have the time they may carry on with these Events until I am settled. If everything goes good I will only be absent for 2-4 weeks! So im hoping to be back before July is finished. But of course always plan for worst case scenario and it may be 4-8 weeks before I am in-game playing.

I will see you all in-game up until then and I can use Forums on my phone. So if you miss me or have any questions during my leave at the end of June or any reports, discussions, ect i will still be able to access. So send me some PM's!

Hello again! Just here for an update. So... i had a good story up there with plenty of reasons why i have to leave my home town, yet i just cant do it. I decided to go back fishing so i can still see my friends and family on the little bit of time off. I started back earlier this week so i havent been active in-game, I am gone at 5am-7pm my time and have Sunday off. Yet i will be on as much as possible yet always checking Forums in between so dont be shy to send me a PM! The thought of going so far by myself with little security net doesnt seem like a good choice, nor does being on a fishing boat that has so many saftey flaws any normal person would just shake there head and walk away but those are the two options. I appreciate the support from all my friends here too.
