   yesterday it was running smooth as always but today i cant seem to open it it wont even show up game guard but it appears to be working on my taskbar and icons. is there something that went wrong in my files?

   You're not giving us too much information. Make sure your antivirus didn't deleted some game files (like dlls) and try performing a computer restart because you might have your game.exe stuck into processes list.
