Solved Problem with freezing

    Hi guys, recently i have problem in this server. when i play in server ONLY in harogarth after 10-20 sec the game just freezes and and error sound pops. Error talks about UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) and other strange error but i tryed this fix, still the same... I edited shortcut like you told and also Windows Pack 2, run as administrator. Still nothing

    Did you replaced the mpq patch recently? If you are playing with MH try turning it off and go to the location where you crash and see if that still happens. If it does then try overwriting the files again from the server .zip patch and also check out the fix common errors for the DEP solution. Turn it on, add the exception of all d2 executables and restart your pc. The weird thing is that it happens only there.

    I tryed The solution you've suggested. Still same... Only in Harogath after 10 sec or more freezes with this c00000005 error, BUT! when i click ok that error, other error pops about EXCEPTION (e06d7363) and only then the game closes. P.S could you please say what does mean MH.

    MH stands for maphack.
    If nothing works you can always try a clean uninstall followed by a fresh reinstall. Probably some file got corrupted inside your d2 client folder.
