A speed test is irrelevant in such scenario, you obviously loose connection (timeout) during those 2-3 seconds and speedtest .net won't show you if something is wrong because it will retry downloading/uploading data even if your connection goes down and back up for a few seconds and won't return a failed test when that happens, besides higher speeds won't provide you better pings, that's related to peering and location and it's not a reference for short network bursts. If everything was working fine couple days ago and there are no issues reported on our side then you've got your answer and it's not the server. Keep a constant communication window open to our server through cmd or some 3rd party toold such as winmtr and see where the problem comes from, could be an issue of your provider's connection (internal, external or both) or at the carrier level that they are using and none of these concern us. There is no such thing as perfect internet connection year around so if the issue persists then give your internet provider a call and tell them what's wrong so they can investigate.
