Problems Connecting

Hey I havnt had any problems till now and I don't see where the server is under maintenance. Can't connect to server. Internet is working fine, anything i should check on?

what error message do you get exactly?

 

Unable to connect to battle.net. I guess it's something with this hotels internet but I can access websites without being blocked. Terrible too there's nothing to do in this small town for the week after i get out of class, was looking forward to this at least poop

 

Hmmm Im sure it is not anything that is related to the server side

So for that unable to connect to B.net message I GUESS its soemthing on your side. Could be some antivirus blocking (even though you would get warning message*)

Since you said you were on a Hotel, it is also possible that the connection is not strong enough to be able to connect but you would see the client atleast trying to connect so I guess its not that either...


*Maybe the warning message is recieved by the hotel admin computer and its not allowing the connection... But again... I doubt its that.


Not sure what else could it be since from you posted I understand that you have been abole to connect from your computer lots of other times with the only exception of the current location/internet connection.

 

It was definitely the hotel I was at, I did some digging and whole port ranges were blocked by default. New hotel now though! Cheers mates
