QQ about glide wrapper

Well i use 3dfx glide-wrapper. I have done these steps
2. Copy the file "glide3x.dll" into the game-directory (i.e. "c:\games\diablo2").

'cause of the fact that this wrapper ist explicitly written for this one game, I would prefer the 2nd way.
Once the files are copied, you have to run the Vid-Test of the game and to choose Glide.


But i cant understand why glide-init.exe editing settings there doesnt change anything for me ? Does that mean glide doesnt working at all for me ? For example i mark "Captured mouse" function still mouse can jump out of window like nothing. And other settings also doesnt change anything. I have to do something(whats is not mentioned at this thread) ? As i understand i dont have to run glide-init.exe all the time i play diablo ?





Well.. I read other threads and found these magic words.. Glide works only with Game.exe and Diablo II.exe. Not with loaders or launchers. But here is what i got when trying to use Game.exe or Diablo II.exe.

A possible fix?

I went online to read more about Distorted Color / Rainbow Color glitches in old games and I found this. I might have something to do with what you are experiencing on your client. With that being said, let's move on shall we? I found some information that may help with the mouse jumping on the screen. Did you add the target "-3dfx" to your Diablo II properties? That may help with this issue..

Seem game work better for me without glide wrapper. And now with new anti hack system its even better. Hope they not move back to old anti hack system. Since this one is thousad times better, not perfect of course but alot better.


Its not really important to me, fix this issue. It was only test. I not playing with glide wrapper. As now new antihack system doesnt load multiple windows for every open game window. It seems working smoother and so on. Again feeling pleasant to play this game.
