I know there is a mod to make the resolution higher for all the users using new computer, there should be a way to add that to the settings with a new patch...

 

Not possible.
The patch is a rather small file (or big if you add textures/sounds/animations to the mod) that contains codes required for the game to read it's content regarding items/animations, etc, but not affect the actual game, or game interface/options.

That mod is not really a mod, but a hack. The downside of it is that it can't actually stretch the ingame interface (textures at low quality, or simply not possible), and it just widens the view of the map you are in. Considering this can affect your view distance, by expanding it, it is forbidden to be used in Duels or PVP scenarios.

But no, adding that hack to a mod/patch is no possible, because they are entire different things.

 

I don't pvp so no worries there, and from what I have read and seen the detail is the same if not better but not bad...
