Solved We all need to know this (want support from all good players) + GM

Hi all! I’m Alex, a big fan of D2 since I was a kid. I played this game for few years but I don’t found server to play and I quit. Now I see this server and I love it but I need to learn again what is important to keep in this game. My English is very bad but I hope you understand it.

Today I want to speak about normal/superior/eth items for Perfect Runewords.

1. For CoH for example we need a Dusk Shroud 4 socket and if we have respect for our soso mayne we found a DS 15ed/15 dur(I don’t like dur because is very expensive to repair) – want a price for this and other examples for CoH armours.

2. Same answer for Enigma. I think Archon Plate 15/15 but when I was a kid few mans prefesr Sup BP, LP, MP – also price

3. Flail 4 – HoTO ; flail 5/cs5 – CtA ; monarch 4 – spirit / all blank or sup- those are cheap, need price monarch 15/15

4. Best Armor for fortitude? I found one eth below 900 def. Tell me the best armour. – also price

5. For Amazon I think GMB 3skill blank or sup 15/15 with 4 sok for Faith – no? – price norm 3sk 4 sok also Sup 3sk 4 sok(very rare).

6. For Assassin we need 3 sok Suwayyah/ Runic Talons/ Feral Claws …/…/.. with 3 sok but no clean, u need with skills but I have no idea: tell me what is necessary and what is extra and OP – also price.

7. For Barbarian u need Berserker Axe 4 sok for? Oath? 5sok for Grief/Death? And 6 sok for Last Wish? Maybe sup baxe for all of this? But one Baxe eth I think 5 sok for Death? One barb fan pls help me with that. I saw at one guy Sup Zweihander eth 5sok? It’s good for what? – also price for all and pls feel free to add things for barb.

8. For Paladin Pb 5 sok grief; 1x shield maybe sup eth 45 all rez for spirit or Exile and this I all I know. Here we need War Scepter with X sock and much skills for? Tell me what skills we need also what skills is a plus. Also I have sup Mighty Scepter with skills.. it’s good for something? If yes, pls tell me sock, for what is good and what skills we need. – also price for all.

9. For Necromancer I am noob ; I have Sup deamon head or sup gargoyle head with skills but idk what is good. Tell me what is good for runewords, socket and skills for items and price for those items.

10. For Druid – also noob – tell me what norm/sup/eth items to keep for runewords; what is OP.

Cv eth- infinity/insight- tell me price for Sup CV eth 15/15

Tresher-norm/eth/sup – for what? Sock and price

I also have a Sup Tiara 15 ed 3 sok- it’s ok for Dream? Best helm for dream and for what character? Also that tiara is good for amazon to put 3 jwl?

Other items for Beast; BotD ; Fury ; Doom; Eternity; Famine; Hand of Justice; Wind; Brand; Death; Destruction; Dragon; Dream; Faith; Ice; Pheonix; Pride and Wrath ?

We all need that information; please make time for this and you have my respect. Feel free to tell us about OP norm/sup/eth items for runewords.

 

I wanna make this answer quick so i dont take the attention away from the actual questions in the post , for now prices are and cannot be accurate since the ladder was reseted at may 13th , people tend to use their own prices since there is no pricelist created yet , i will participate in making a guiding pricelist in some months when the economy is stable again ,which we also had last ladder and it really helped specially new players on the server to not getting ripped off or scammed by Old players who knew all prices for everything , next up all the information you need about runewords and bases you can find by doing a simple and basic google search, great post anyway and happy to see you around on the forum seems to be you're first actual post so have fun around here , but again is it diablo 2 who can stay away from this game lol . cheers

 

This issue is a little different from blizzard servers. On Blizzard u may be used to keep elite eth armor that has NOT any superior flag so u are able to PTopaz+Thul+Armor it in cube for getting (hopefully the right amount of) random sox on it and the 50% def eth bug applied.

Here this recipe only does what it was originally intended to do: sox, no eth bug.

Instead ppl use Hel-Rune and tpscroll with the armor on this server for the eth bug and since this one is repeatable there is no reason to stop before the total maximum base def is reached on the armor (that's exactly 2037). On top of it there is no reason to use normal armor and there is also no reason to use elite armor only. Search for ANY armor piece that can have the right amount of sox (most certainly 4 sox in most cases for fortitude but 3 sox can be interesting sometimes for Duress) that is eth AND got some base ed (optimum is 15% of course). If u find such a superior eth armor u can really make it beeing a totally max eth bug armor...

Edit: Forgot an important sidenote. It seems important that the armor u try to eth bug got some %ed on it via runeword or magical-flag (magical, rare, unique). It is NOT sufficient having some Pul Runes in the armor in the moment hitting transmute.. this way the def will instead go down (This is why u can not really max eth-bug Shakos). So max-bugging eth 4 sox armor could be done like this:

1) Create Stone in it, reset with tpscroll+hel
2) If max def then go step 3 else go step 1
3) Create the final Fortitude
