The best option would be a clean install including deleting all registry files

 

are you hardcore char?
And you said you can create games but cant see any games.
It is possible that atm there are no HC games on normal.
Did you try making a normal softcore char and try playing?

Wich means it is a hardcore char.

Try making a normal ladder softcore char and then see if you can join and see games.

 

@angrytom as per our instructions http://europebattle.net/d2/join you do need to download our custom installer and run the game through our executable in order to create and join games. You said you can create a game so this means everything is working fine and you are good to go, however the fact that you cannot see any game there could be several reasons:
a) Your character could be non-ladder so make sure you're on ladder
b) if you're playing classic then you should know only a small group of people plays non-expansion characters and you can meet them here in forums too, use the search button for `classic` in this case
c) According to the image you provided I see you're having a HardCore character and since you are lvl 1, by default you cannot see any nightmare or hell games but only normal games and probably there were none at the moment you checked. Majority of created games are on hell difficulty since it's pretty easy to levelup and get past hell due to the increased experience rate.

Additionally you may create a SoftCore character and check if you can see the games there. Unlike HC where most games are made on hell and usually in private mode for safety reasons, SC is much more populated and there are a lot of public normal+ games. Keep in mind that not everyone is on the same timezone as you are and as far as I see it's a late hour in your country (Poland) too.

 

SC has always been much more popular than HC in this game simply because not everyone would cope with a total loss if their character dies, unlike SC where you can loot your body in the same or next game and continue grinding. I'm going to mark this thread as solved since you are able to connect just fine, let us know if you have any other questions.
