Everything was working fine till yesterday. Today when I start Diablo II without the MapHack it's fine, but when starting maphack it shows error: Unhandled exception violation c0000005. I tried fresh Diablo II install, fresh MapHack - none of these worked.

Hi there. Have you tried running the application as an administrator?

Well, I don't see how this thread will help me since in clearly says " UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) when clicking battle.net button / Unable to connect " which is not my problem. My error occurs when starting the maphack ( injecting d2hackmap.dll ). Without the MapHack the game runs just fine and i explained this in the first post, but anyway I have ried everything mentioned in the thread and none of them worked. Both my Diablo II and MapHack are in Windows XP (SP 2) Capability and running as admin. DEP is turned off. I have never used antivirus in my life. Both firewall and windows defender are disabled ( even my security center is disabled as well ). Here's the last crash log ( probably something to do with Fog.dll ) :

    Code:
    20:17:53.054 Stack Crawl:
20:17:53.054 Address Frame Module Return Stack
    20:17:53.054 6ff60eaf 0019db64 Fog.dll Fog!Ordinal10035+00DF [omap]
    20:17:53.054 6ff612eb 0019f110 Fog.dll Fog!Ordinal10052+018B [omap]
    20:17:53.054 Stack walk error: 0
    20:17:53.054 2 frames dumped
Tried to replace the file with a fresh one, crashed again with the same error.

Already used serach engine and nothing helped me so far.

The logs you posted are useless and no log will help tracking your issue. Try the integrated maphack first as we cannot guess what changes you made to your computer in the last 24 hours and maphack errors are more of a lottery anyway.

I did not make any changes to my computer and I am using the integrated maphack.

In post #1 and #5 you mention that the game starts fine w/o maphack and the problem appears when you start the maphack and load the d2hackmap.dll which means you're using the normal stand alone maphack and not the integrated one. Again, download the integrated MH, run the game as admin and see if it works.

I didn't know the other maphack is build into the application. It works fine with the build-in maphack. Thank you.

I am having trouble with this one aswell... But in my case it is when i click on Battle.net... I already tried everything in the mentioned thread but nothing seems to work....
I basically just want to play D2 on Battle.net (europabattle) in fullscreen with maphack...
I am using Windows 10 and OpenGL wrapper to display things correct and have a good FPS...
The normal maphack will crash the game right away as soon as i start it...
The integrated maphack lets me run the game (but only in window mode....................) but then crashes as soon as i click on Battle.net -> Unhandled exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c00005)
I really tried almost everything, changed the DEP, the UAC, running as admin, compatibility, downloaded about 3-4 different clients (1.13c, 1.13d) and so on but seems like there is no way to get the game running in Full Screen with Maphack on Bnet.... I have spoken to a few people who are running it in full screen with maphack so actually there must be a way or am I wrong?

    I would appreciate every help,
    thanks in advance!

MH and full screen don't really go well together and in terms of errors there are lots of variables and it's more of a lottery but feel free to use the search button as there is ton of information posted, however this doesn't guarantee that it will work for you too.

I already tried everything, searched on several websites, eventhough i tried different maphacks, but it seems like there is no way i could get it running at all, as it will always close when i click on battle.net... I already ran the maphack in window mode singleplayer, but it just keeps crashing when i click battle.net... I already turned off antivirus, windows defender and nearly everything that could block it... added it to the DEP and so on, but it always gives me the unhandled exception access violation when i click on battle.net...

So if you're saying it is a kind of lottery than it means it could be possible that there is no way for me to use maphack?

I still think it is some weird stuff related to Windows 10 + OpenGL Wrapper... but somehow i get FPS drops when i try running it with Direct3D(GeForce GTX 660)

EDIT: I just found a working solution for myself! :) I am using a 1.13d Client now and this MH, its not the classic MH but at least it works :D
