Solved Cube socketing

I've found a 15 ed mage plate and wonder if I can socket it with the cube. Now, I know that superior items don't work, but I wonder if this can be possible in our server. I read this at some old post but can't remember the user that wrote it

1 Ist Rune + 1 Pul Rune + 1 Perfect Topaz + Superior Armor => Random Socketed Superior Armor

Hmm, I thought mage had 4sk max, tx for the tip, I was about to screw a good armour. I must read more...
