Solved D2 EuropeBattlenet wont work

unhandled exception access violation c00005 happends after trying to load the game, tried the steps on other threads but seems like i cant make it work :-(
tried to reinstall aswell but still the same.

/edit This has been solved and the opposite of the usual DEP permissions was required https://gyazo.com/c9cc0a267accf334d52e57df816566ce
It appears that due to some software policy changes, the Game.exe process had to be added to the exceptions list of Data Execution Prevention. The game started right away.

It looks like you've played here before @Nolseby, so the same steps apply. When does the error occur exactly? Straight after launching the game, do you get to see the game menu or after clicking play? Do you use the new patch and launcher? Check out this thread and the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings in particular http://forum.europebattle.net/threads/common-game-errors-and-fixes.532466/
Reinstalling should also be done this way to make sure it is made correctly http://forum.europebattle.net/threads/common-game-errors-and-fixes.532466/#post-881523

i did play here before, and i have tried the different threads u linked, i might try to install fresh windows later as a last solution.

- eKc wanted to help since he is the one i am trying to play with again lol, after a few years :O

Be specific and tell me what have you tried so far, and give me an answer to the questions I've asked earlier on as well so I can help you troubleshoot this. You don't need to install a fresh OS for this.

i get the unhandled error after the gameguard splash screen is loaded, and sometimes i can get all the way in where i am able to click play on the launcher before the crash comes up.

step by step.
i uninstalled every Diablo folder on pc and installed fresh through europebattle.net.
