Baal run exp

    Hi!

    Looking for some wisdom about how much exp% comes from solo baal runs (with or without anni/torch exp bonus). Any lvl 93+ baal run statistics (on this realm) are welcome.

    getting around 0,25% per run at lvl 94 with my sorc and 10% anny sorta ok if ur not in rush and wanna actually get some loot without getting heart attack in public games lol. In public its way more im guessing but its too stresfull for me.

    Hi, that bonus from anni+ torch is not giving too many different with exp on these levels especially it not visible at 96+levels but I can show you statistics with bonus:
    Open Baal Run Expierience rated(Players 8 at Throne):
    Level 93 - ~0.70%
    Level 94 - ~0.41%
    Level 95 - ~0.25%
    Level 96 - ~0.11%
    Level 97 - ~0.04%
    Level 98 - ~0.02% + Diablo (not solo)0.01% + Nithlathak 0.01% (solo 26k exp, 2ppl 17k)-> 0.04%
    Time: ~3min

    Private Game Expierience Rated(only one hero at Throne and rest 7 at city):
    Level 93 - ~1.50%
    Level 94 - ~0.80%
    Level 95 - ~0.50%
    Level 96 - ~0.29%
    Level 97 - ~0.10%
    Level 98 - ~0.03% + Diablo 0.02% + Nithlathak 0.01% -> 0.06%
    +Uber Bosses 0.09% by all Six - ;Diablo Clone- 0.01% Total Result 0.16%
    Level 98(with Expierience Shrine) - Baal 0.03% + Diablo 0.03% + Nithlathak 0.01% -> 0.07% ~198k exp

    Sry noob question, does this mean anni +5..10% exp and torch +5% exp does not work on lvl 96, 97, 98?

    No, it work but in this percentage of leveling on higher levels is just not too effective, it's giving something around ~0.01-2% and on 98 it is absolutely not visible when exp comes to thunsands not milions per group and statical exp from act bosses.
    I've edited my previus post to add statistic on 93-7 leveling solo on players8 all maps.
    PS.Don't worry about exp just play and I'm sure you will get that dreamed level for you.

    Some more details will be great, lvl 98 only.

    Is there significant exp from chaos sanctuary minibosses (wizier, lord, infector groups) / wordstone throne minibosses (colenzo, achmel, bartuc, ventar, lister wave)?

    No, they are giving also expierience at thousands so it's Not 0.01%,. I prefer to run them with someone special character like hamer to kill there faster and better save this time for search expierience shrine or run game faster.
    About Baal Waves..Ventar and Listers only makes sense to kill but chance to get 0.01% from both is only on used expierience shrine,, Horadrims & Frenzy Knights on map are less too, it's more game on time here and how many times you will kill Nithlathak-Diablo-Baal per hour.

    I would ask for more precise lvl 98 exp measures on solo baal run if anyone can share it. Let me show an example:

    Solo baal run, no other players in the game, lvl 95 sorc with torch +5% exp, annihilus +9% exp
    trash (5k exp)(non-champion group) ->0.00% (5k exp)
    colenzo wave -> 0.01% (31.5k)
    achmel wave -> 0.05% (118.7k)
    bartuc wave -> 0.09% (205k)
    ventar wave -> 0.15% (331k)
    lister wave -> 0.19% (425.9k)
    baal -> 0.21% (477k)

    Lvl 97 measures also welcome.

    I tested today on hardcore these runs and prepared it with full details for you @ameth but I really don't see sense of play 10k solo runs instead of 1.5-2k like me on 98 level, it is making the game longer from a month to like 3 or more months exp on one level.

    Thank you for the cool videos. You saved me a lot of preparation for the next ladder :)

    My point is to know upfront, how much exp may I count on if I am lazy (or unequipped) to hunt diablo or Nihla in open Baal runs. It seems I am better to be equipped and not lazy :)

    Edit: I am not sure I understand the difference in exp points. Do mobs give random exp? Or merc kill makes some difference? Or the minion group comes with a random amount of minions?

    Baal waves are giving always similiar points of expierience to this, doesn't matter merc is killing or you, expierience is shared between you both.
    Minion groups have always the same pack of monsters not random, just 3 wave is a minimal lower than 2 wave.
    Don't combinate so much just play I'm sure you will get that level which you need.

    Solo run is the base exp. That helps to calculate other scenarios.

    Back in time, I was used for tools on official realms. Nowadays, I do not have those tools, and it seems, there is no such support for D2 anymore (I found nothing promising). So I am not sure I can manage to handle +7 characters efficiently.

    I, for one, went into a lot of details with exp calculations, of course aiming for 99 (stuck at ~20% over 98 atm, hope to find time to take her to 99).
    From the various calculations that I made, I settled on 2 setups:
    1. High level char + 7 x lvl 1 chars in town
    2. High level char + lvl 61 full BO / BC / Shout barb (for obvious reasons) + 6 x lvl 1 chars in town. In this setup, I keep the barb out of exp range in CS and Throne, for the +35% bonus when having a party member in the same named area. Solo Baal, barb gets exp if he goes in, because the room is too small.
    The reason why I went for this was to get 4.5 times more experience on the main char (exp for n players = base exp x (n+1) /2 = 4.5 times). Also, I always try to get exp shrine before killing Diablo, Nihlathak and Baal (additional 50% added to the exp bonus calculations, not negligible at all).

    The even better approach to this would be to find a game buddy on a similar quest, preferably a different build (ideally a complementary one) and do runs together, for better exp / time rate.
    This is my take, feel free to take whatever you think useful.
