Solved can't connect to bnet

    My friend tried several games, tried installing it, aswell as the game already installed. He gets past the startup screen and when he clicks on bnet button in menu the game just closes without any error or anything like that. Please help :)

    1.compatibility mode win xp
    2.add to antivirus exceptations
    3.run as admin
    4.check if single player is working,if not then reinstall,repatch,reuse server files and reaply connection to this server

    Did all of the above..and yes single player is working, tried installing multiplayer vers , aswell as full game !

    win 10 and bitdefender 2017, yes ofc we tried all of those :)

    I was assuming he was using bitdefender. (using bitdefender total security 2017 myself)
    Did you read our notice about bitdefender on the connect page? Is he using free version of bitdefender or paid one aka internet security, total security, etc?

    Note: this option is available in the paid version of bitdefender, the free version may not give you the possibility to disable false-positive errors which is known for causing issues with many other applications.

    If you still can't figure it out send me a private message with his skype id and I'll be online in about ~30 minutes to assist him remotely.

    It's been fixed, the end user forgot to disable bitdefender's `active thread control`, thus it was blocking the connection.
