Classic Diablo

    Hello i am new to this ,
    normaly i play Orginal D2 and i play Classic softcore ,
    Is there an option too choose between Classic and LOD ? i mean are there even people playing classic ?

    Hello and welcome aboard. There are people who play classic as well but not nearly as many as the expansion set. LoD community is by far the biggest, however classic is great too especially if you want to make things more challenging.

    Classic has it's own charms. Have to really play together.
    Btw, does classic Travincial also has great drops or is that just LOD thing? From your previous sentence I presume not. But it never hurts to ask once more.

    Actualy, I might even consider playing a bit of classic once in a while until resset.

    By the way, keep in mind that classic doesn't support extended stash size but everything else works fine.

    Classic sticks to the default stash size but you will see it as expanded due to UI changes.

    Since Ive started to play a classic a bit, i didnt recognize any glitches connected to inventory or cube - it seems expanded and working just fine... The stash is completely different story.

    Increased XP rates work as well, same goes for increased drop chance (multiple uniq drop from act bosses/travi etc.). Thats all ive observed for now.

    Heh, when i was searching something about d2 classic, ive seen this topic from february, didnt realize its not 2016 anymore :))

    Any other players interested in classic? I am playing for a bit and noticed there are basically zero players at the moment, even though classic is the best version :(

    Just because you like it better than the rest of the versions doesn't make it the best. These are a few players there, I know Walnoha plays hccl, but he is on a different timezone and its late here when he plays. Haven't met other people there, but I know there are a few more besides him.

    Claiming that classic is better than expansion set is only personal preference, especially since numbers show different statistics. Anyway, as you've been told in the channel the day before there are people playing classic too but vast majority play expansion. Have in mind that most games in both classic and expansion are on hell difficulty so level-up, complete game difficulties, be active and you will increase your chances of meeting other classic lovers too.

    Well, on HCCL there is Walnoha, me and fide... :) But its not a hardcore gaming there, more like casual for fun chill :)

    Ill whisp you when I am online, I can give you rush and and find you some starting EQ... But In classic, sorc have troubles with hell due to many imunes. Best char is probably hammerdin (no imunes, massive dmg), barb can do on its own and then necro can fight alone too. Feel free to PM me for more info.
