I said 65000 as a random number, whether it's 5000 or 65000, the MCP error shown has no relevance to the error the OP was experiencing. That error is only being shown at the very end of yesterdays log and the very beginning of todays log for a reason. It's because it's being connected and disconnected from the game server as the clients are exited. It is un-related to the error being experienced via Fog.dll, which is what the OP is asking about.

"Maybe you're right, maybe you're not. Nobody is right all the time, not even the engineers who designed the game, clearly."
You are 100% correct; which is why I asked for the same respect after having my opinions and information immediately disregarded. I asked for the error log and held my opinions for these reasons. You've just said what I've been saying for the last 5 posts; it's nice to hear it from an admin who is not biased. Cheers.

This is from today. Same exact message on a clean game client, all original files, dlls, one game instance, only connected to a regular channel.
~08:36 is when my internet connection went down for about 3-4 minutes which results into the same error Halt #357 FogValidateCriticalSection(415) - bad critical section err=5 on a default game client.
~14:04 is when I check that desktop pc and I click OK on the dialog box and it's when the game window closes and rest of the log is being generated. Fog.dll is mentioned a lot and in various scenarios and errors because seems it handles all memory management for the game so that makes sense since in this case it's the file responsible with generating a memory dump of the application everytime it crashes.
No one disrespected your opinion but you love being dramatic since I expressed my opinion too saying it can't be related to mods you were mentioning first because it also happens on a clean client, it's an error that you can find posted in battlenet forums from over a decade ago and people still get it on vanilla and they don't use any mods there, I also experience it myself in same conditions as the OP does so my opinion is based on that and as far as I see it you did not get this error. Any changes we have here are few and very simple to be made which you already know so you can't mess things up and we are using them for over 12 years without any issues, other realms have most of them too and they're fine. It's not necessarily a guaranteed network issue either since #357 is a common error over on internet like c0000005 one, for example you get the same error when you're trying to inject two different maphacks into game client at a time so that's yet another different scenario with the same error but if the OP says he gets it when he lags a lot and he looses connection with the server then that's the best explanation I personally can find because I experience the exact same thing when it happens on my side. You somehow find a very rude way to express your opinion and I'm not even sure why you're still here if you consider it a subpar server and you spread all kind of bs that I have to find about from others, like seriously if you don't like it in here you're not forced to stay but stop being that arrogant and call others trolls when that's what you're doing too by literally arguing to every single reply that's being made. Just so you know, the loader is merely the original game executable but it's made to start minimized, that's all and it's been used for many years. It's not something custom developed by someone, neither the game client you get to download from the website. That's the popular portable game client by PunK, a clean game client that people have also been using for over a decade in almost all realms that share the same version so not something we personally developed, you can always install the game from the original disks though it's just that the portable client is preferred because it's easier and fast to get. The game is obviously outdated and built on an old architecture so errors are not uncommon especially when you use 3rd party tools like maphacks or even no tools all, so not every error of this game will have it's clear explanation or solution, that's why a simple fresh reinstall of the game can sometime fix some if not most of the odd errors although the end user didn't do anything to cause them.

Anyway, since the OP has already reached out through PM for further assistance I'll TC and stop this circus here. He mentioned he'll be gone for a few days btw so he's going to reply somewhere next week.
