Solved Diablo II Error 6f8574ae

    If d2 crashes, is there any dump file or anything what can help developers to recognize an error and its environment?

    Multi-client, boosting my own char, when blood raven shows up on the screen, one of d2 windows do crash.

    Is it worth investigating?

    If you had Sting's maphack running in the background, that one is the likely culprit. It happens to me every once in a while (not often at all), out of nowhere. Imho, not worth investigating, something breaks in the screws and bolts, but I just reopen the instance that failed and I'm good to go.
    If this is not the case, please add details that you think are useful.

    A quick use of the search feature tells you that this is usually caused by 3rd party tools. Since you haven't mentioned what your current setup is then I suggest starting with disabling glide-wrapper and running the game in window mode first.

    I had all the stuff in stack (and windowed mode ofc):
    -cpu bugfix
    -wide screen
    -sting mh
    -autotele
    -glide

    Issue seems performance-related. It comes out more if I use more clients.

    See the above answer, one of the 3rd party tools is causing this error for you. Start with disabling glide-wrapper and the widescreen plugin.

    Hi, maybe you are already using but if not check the shortcut from diabloii.exe or game.exe ( not Loader or Europebattle.exe) with compatibility win xp sv2/admin and on path -w -skiptobnet, maphack integrated and check also if your cfg from your mh is not from another mh or mod that gives u crash maybe.
