Announcement Diablo II Ladder Reset - 10 December 2021

Can somebody answer to me about player base here? I mean, is this server rather dead after d2 resurrected release (that's why reset is now instead of 2022) or are there still playing around 1k players at peak time like in 2015/2016 when I was here? Just wondering. Greets.

The reset date has always been set for ~2022, that "~" sign over there means approximately which says it can happen a few months before or later after that. We will be about two weeks apart from the year 2022 when the reset happens, and we never had exact ladder resets after a fixed period of time. Straight from the FAQ page, it tells you ladders can last up to two years which means they might as well last a year or nearly two.
The current ladder state is about 1 year and 10 months, which makes it nearly two years. As for the player base, it is as healthy as always, d2 resurrected release had barely any impact on us and we still peak high numbers way over a year into the ladder. We initially intended to reset the ladder at the end of September but assuming some wanted to play both games might as well wait for the winter season. PS: You were present in this ladder as well as in the previous one, yet you always ask the same questions in advance when you could've simply logged in to see for yourself and enjoy the game.

 

So now you gave us the goods and we cannot enjoy them It is like Christmas...you know there are presents at the tree,but you are not allowed to open them
What are we supposed to do? Fiddle our thumps Wait???
Not suggesting anything ,just thinking....the season is over...even ladder players are waiting for the reset..noone would mind if the season ended immediatly and the started asap...D2 ladder is not like LOL ranked season that people push to get Gold/Plat/Diamond at the last moment... (btw this is meant as a joke.No ban please )
