I have downloaded and followed what is needed for the map hack and when I try the game shoot an error and make me close it.... any ideas?

I don't think it works on W7 or Vista. Next time provide at least your OS specs, so the rest will know what the hell you are talking about.
So if you tried to run it for XP, and still doesn't work, you must find a different one!

 

the maphack is working on w7 on vista i don't tried and on xp work again so post more details here

on your os windows 7X64 iz harder to find a mh who can work use another os like 7X86

 

Is working on vista. I tried it.

 

I have tried string and d2mr, I have tried xp sp3 compatibility mode and admin. Either closes all together or pulls up error much makes me close...
any ideas?

 

if your os iz 7X64 even with compatibility the mh will crush so another think what you can do is to try another diablo 2 version like 1.11 and another mh like c3po /sting for version 1.11

The server works with 1.11 and 1.13c but recomended is 1.13c.

 

Same here, most maphacks don't work on x64 but there is an option but it depends on whether it's allowed here to use a proxy, if yes, I'd recommend to test Redvex with several plugins.
So the question is: Would it be allowed to use a proxy/Redvex to connect to your server?

 

You can't use a any kind of proxy to connect on this server like you will see is allowed just maphack

 

Ok, so i played around with stings maphack a bit, and i finally got it to work. First you've gotta make sure you're running 1.13c version (you can download downgrade patch for 1.13d from here), and on top of that you have an oblivion realm Patch_D2.mpq(you can download server patch here). The trick is that you have to set "run as administrator" in compatibility settings for d2hackmap.exe AND for Game.exe. d2hackmap.exe is located in maphack folder, and Game.exe is in main game folder. Also, if you wanna use d2loader for whatever reason you should probably set it in XP(SP3) compatibility mode. Oh, almost forgot, I'm runing windows 8 x64, so i think this should probably work, in windows 7 and vista as well. Hope that helps. Your friendly neighborhood Avvatar
