Followed Connection Instructions Word for Word - Still Cant Get On

    Hi.


    I followed the How to Connect instructions multiple times and when I try to start the .exe on my desktop, it says

    "D2Loader does not recognize this version of Diablo II. This build is only designed to work with Diablo II v1.12."


    But aren't we on v1.13c? Please help.

    How to connect instructions reffers to a fresh install of Diablo2 on the computer and I doubt you had that. Everytime when you encounter a problem make sure you uninstall and delete everything related to Diablo II and reboot your computer. Once the windows loads back again reinstall the game, recommended would be to do that on a different partition.

    Errors usually show up because of corrupted registry files, windows OS damage, multiple installations, etc.


    PS: Make sure you include a screenshot of the error/message everytime you open a new thread.
