Solved Hi, I am new and I can not enter to the main channel

    Hi!, I followed all of the instructions on the main web page, also I tried to see if someone has similar issues and I didn't found the same case, furthermore, I tried to re-install everything, cleaning the registry files, using only the installation files from your server.

    I am able to connect with my account, to create characters, but once I connect with one of my characters the main Diablo II channel is not available and appear a message that says that I need the patch for connecting with your servers, I followed all the steps and I tried to re-install 2 times everything... Which could be the problem?

    My intent is to enter the main diablo 2 channel game, and the channel button is disabled.
    When I go to the chat the channel button is enabled, and when I press it appears the Diablo II channel when I try to enter again, I can't, it appears that message again like I do not have the proper patch or something.

    Maybe I am misunderstanding this, europebatle has the main channel to connect with diablo 2 community on the game right ? or is necessary to create a public/private game or join a public/private game?

    Oh, sorry, I have been misunderstanding this, I need to join/create a game, the channel is the chat channel. My bad, sorry I am new on this ;P

    Hello and welcome aboard.
    Indeed, the channel button is used for the chat channel where people meet for trades, help requests, game discussions, etc.
    To play the game you use the Create/Join buttons and the red text is merely an informative text that will be displayed at all times so you know that you will only be able to create or join games by downloading the realm patch. As long as you can create and join games it means you did everything correctly and you are ready to play diablo online.
