Hey, bro. Awesome that you took time to post this guide. I was one of the players that was asking around for instructions. Sadly, I still have a problem with topazchat- I seem to connect, but when I type in the chat it says "Nobody can hear you". By the way my topazchat, which I downloaded from the same link few days ago- doesn't look like the one in the pictures here. I'll show you! Here are some screenshots. This is how it looks and how I connect:
    step1:
    step2:

    step3:

What else should I do? Maybe join one of those channels? If yes, which one?:

    Thanks in advance.

Hey Botlike! You just have to add "Diablo II" to Channel-list ( II = ii ) otherwise just use the command "/join Diablo II" to switch the Channel.

It worked with the command "/join Diablo ii" and I used the program for a good week now, but all of a sudden since 2 days ago it gets stuck in this screen when I try to connect/join:

I'm using absolutely the same login info and settings as before that. Even reinstalled the program a few times just to be sure.

    Any ideas?

^ Ye, that's how I've been logging on till now. I found out what was the issue, some of the .cht files got deleted for whatever reason and topazchat was bugging out. When I saved them all over again it got fixed.

    Thanks.

The server you're looking for is d2.europebattle.net and it is included as far as I can see in the first screenshot.

Well, there is regular bnet, bunch of IP's and exodus bnet. I can't manually add server like it is said in the guide.
I've used version posted here, I don't know why it's different.

It's different because it has default settings.

Fix for what? Click the "Add" button from Server List: (D) and add our server address. You may delete the other servers listed there.

@Muld66, so are you using a new updated version of topaz chat or the one we provide on our tools page?

    Version 8.20 it says
But as you can see i can only see battle.net and a bunch of other ip adresses as well as "exudos.battle.net"

Hopefully there is a possible fix for this :p

Download topazchat again from our tools page and try out the 7.04 version instead.

    Got my problem solved!

First of all i downloaded Version 7 from the tools page instead of version 8 since i can manually add the "d2.europebattle.net" server in the version 7. Still dont know how to add it to version 8 tho.

Also if you happen to run into "Attempting to connect." message in Topazchat and nothing happens, make sure you did read the "readme.txt" (Or as it says in LSD-Dudes guide) -
Drag the files from the Topazchat.zip folder into your D2 installation folder, otherwise it will not work :)

Thanks to Gix for helping me out
