You probably miss How to install, because i think you install it on other directory. In D2 root folder is tdagg3.dll file and topaz chat must be installed there.

    How to Install?
First Step: Download the Topaz Chat.Zip here: http://europebattle.net/downloads/D2TopazChat.zip
After downloading you've to unpack the .Zip in your Diablo 2 install-directory. For Example: "C:\Program Files\Diablo II"
Make sure you overwrite all existing Data.

    Hope i help.

Alright, i'm trying to use topaz chat but it's not working, i've downloaded the .zip file and unzipped it inside my D2 folder, then i copied all the files inside Topaz 7.0.4 folder inside my D2 folder to start up Topaz Chat, placed all the information to log in but it gets stuck forever in "attempting to connect" without doing anything else.
I've started both Diablo II and Topaz Chat as an admin.
Step by step of what i did:

    -Unzipped Tchat
    -Placed in D2 folder
    -Started Tchat as admin
-Used all the info (d2.europebattle.net, my account and psw to connect ecc)
    -pressed f4 to connect
    -stuck on attempting to connect

@Vyiar, did you removed the other ips from the server list? Do you have a firewall managed by the antivirus? If so, check if topazchat application is allowed to connect to the internet.

Move the files from the folder into your main Diablo II folder. The Topaz starts the same way the game does - with the GameGuard.

On the other hand, I tried using the Timers options and set up a message that will appear every 5 minutes (my trade list), but 5 minutes later nothing happened. What am I missing? Thnx

@JivkoEnev, the post you just quoted is a year old. Watch the posts date.
Also it's best if you don't use the timer options and especially every 5 minutes as you intend, stick to the manual way of posting your trade messages as those settings could easily fail and you'll end up spamming the channel.

If let's say your main account is Alpha and you create another account named AlphaTopaz, then yes, you can use both at the same time. Keep in mind that if you log the AlphaTopaz via Diablo II it'll drop you from the TopazChat so it's better to be an empty account.

    I need help with it:

I configure account and channel (Diablo II) but all I get is
    Code:
    connected
Logging on may take up to 30 seconds or more, so be patient
I dont see chat or user on that channel.
How do I get it to work? It does not complain about wrong password or anything, so I suppose it's fine....

Then I tried with channel name "testing" to have some channel with no other people so that it would be easy to notice if someone else is there or not. I went there with my main acc from Diablo 2 client and then also "joined" it with my mule all using TopazChat, but no one came to that chat channel so b.net does not even see that topaz chat has logged on.

@Intelli, download TopazChat 8.20 from our tools page. As for "you have no mail" that's exactly what it means, you can use /mail command in-game to send an email to another player.

TopazChat 8.20: "home channel" feature doesn't work, I have to join channel manually each time. Is there any way to fix it?

I had the same problem, wan't able to find a workaround, so had to manually join every time the main channel.

Downloaded 8.2 version. Configured it fine. The only crap user experience is, that "Home Channel" does not seem to work properly. I write "Diablo ii" there, yet, after app start + connect button click I have to write "/join Diablo ii" command to make the chat join to the Diablo II channel.

Is there some trick for that?
