Solved Socket protect on

    Hello guys!
    I recently joined this server and i have been having the best of time.While i was playing just now i attempted to make a Spirit sword out of the 4 runes. However, when i started placing the runes in the sword it did not let me and i got a massage reading 'socket protect on'. What should i do? Can you make rune recipes on this server?

    This is your maphack feature to prevent you from accidental socketing your items.
    Open you maphack .cfg file and check what key you have attached to Socket protection function. Then simply press it. In my config it is under "U".

    I used this maphack where you extract its content directly into the Diablo 2 folder. The integrated one. and i cant find the file you mentioned above (maphack .cfg)

    Press "Insert" on your keyboard if you use default maphack and didn't make any chances to it

    The file is called d2maphack.cfg

    @Symboter, notepad or any other text editor will work. Right click the d2hackmap.cfg file and choose to open/edit it with notepad as default editor.
