The 3dfx Sting crash

    Hello everyone,

    I'm making this thread cause I want to share what I did to fix the crashes that occur when using 3dfx with sting (or just sting that is crashing, dunno im not supergenius at this). I havnt found any fix on this problem anywhere.

    The game kept crashin whenever I left and entered another game (first game was always fine).
    I noticed that the crashes occured mostly in act 1,
    whenever I entered a game and started in act 5 there was no problem...
    Also, when starting in act 5 and going directly to ex. Black Marsh with your map ON then it would always crash aswell...

    And that made me think about what the problem could be...

    So I changed some stuff in the sting config file, simple fix really... I havnt had a crash since then (still having error msg when quitting the game tho).
    The problem how I see it were that the mini shrine icons were totally bugged out or smth... sometime the shrine would have an image of assassin face or smth weird like that, I also removed the icons for chests and some other unnecessary things... Im pasting my edited version of sting config here if you want to use it.
