A lot of people ask for where to put their stats, but it's really a lot simpler than they think.

Strength: Enough to wear your gear. Only exception for more is a titan barb.

Dexterity: Enough for your gear or to max block. Only exception is for bows or javelins...usually amazons.

Vitality: Usually the rest of your points will go here. At least put a few points here, even if you're an ES sorc.

Energy: Almost always none go into this. Only exception is an ES sorc, which benefits more from the increased mana pool for her ES.

PvM or starting out usually messes with these a bit so it's not out of the ordinary to put a few points into energy for more mana due to the fact that you won't have gear that gives you mana too easily.

If you're unsure if you'll need to put points into strength or dex later on for future gear, save points that you don't desperately need to spend to account for it.

Nope, not good. Every build need specific stats, not just general setups. I'd just tell them to read some stickied builds on d2jsp and it'd do a lot more good for them than just ,,no dex or enough to mb" lol. Anyway, it's good that you tried.

Just to tell you, that's what makes the points and how to put basic character. To build a character has a specific section. Build for all heroes here - > click
    Good luck
