Enigma

Hello guys,

So my mistake is that i created paladin first, and it's quite hard to mf without enigma, so my question is, maybe there is anyone kind enough, to donate me enigma? It can be the lowest crapiest enigma in the game. As soon as i get better drops, i will pay for that enigma.

You have to work a bit to have good results and items.

 

Create Blizz sorceress, level up, then after you've found some gear for your merc and yourself to be able to hold up vs countess, do resset stats and create Light build. Now run countess. It's impossible to not get at least 2 Bers in few hours.

My fav build is MeteOrb so I can `end` fallens guarding entrance into Tristram and Griswold after Countess. That fallen drops Sur's and Ber's quite often.

 

You guys beat me to posting this. This is exactly how I started on this server a month or so ago. Handouts for a sorceress are much easier than hammerdin gear.

 

Also, as soon as you get to act 4, get Lower Kurast Waypoint. That Uber Chest has dropped me some sweet HR's. Sur being maximum I've gotten.

 

I started with light sorc and constantly running Contess untill i got the 2 bers for my infinity. After that started runnin all around the acts, mostly 81-85 lvl areas. My usual rutine is Tristam>Cows>Contess>Pit>Summoner>Travi>Act 4 (killing all mobs after the second WP+Diablo)>Nihlathak>All World stone+Baal run. Quite long run but if u get the infinity you can defeat them all with basic sorc gear.
Dont forget to get lvl 94+ charm after you get some runes and start collecting gems for the rolls. This is the most efficient way to get runes (imo, and if you are lucky enought

So Vadc, ¿have you got the list of the points in the skills for Meteorb? Because i want to do a meteorb sorc to MF in the differents acts of the game: tristam, countess, andy, arcane, travincal, meph, chaos, shenk, eldritch and nih. And one question: what is HCS? Thanks.

Skills from my head.
Light tree:
Usual 1 pt in each - Teleport, Static Fields, Telekinesis
Cold tree:
20 Frozen orb(+ prereq)
1 Cold mastery
1 pt in 1st Cold armor
Fire tree:
1 Warmth
20 Fireball
20 Meteor
Now comes the tricky part - maxing fire mastery is such a waste(which a lot of people do), because you can get around +2k more damage if you put points somewhere in the middle between Fire Bolt and Fire mastery.
The more + skills you have + Fire skillers, the more you want to increase Fire Bolt instead of Fire Mastery. Friend of mine did a excel calculator to check and I got more out of my fire tree.
Basically, if you have +22 skills, you'd have something like - 11 Fire bolt and 11 Fire Mastery. But, when you have + 30 skills, its best to do something like 17 Fire Bolt and 13 Fire Mastery.

Meteorb must is 15 cold 15 fire ormus with 3 FO instead of Vipermagi or CoH(CoH is safe for beginners), but the further you increase your MeteOrb skill and get more godly items, the faster you can orient yourself to playing with Ormus. Also, Up your gloves - if you use Monarch, you can afford it.

I am usually looking for ~15k damage in FireBall, the moment I have that, I put the rest points into increasing Frozen Orb Synergy.

 

So, ¿that type of sorc is good to MF? Also i have a blizzard but is all cold skills.. i need one who have 2 differents elements to kill mobs in MF run, in this case fire and cold..

 

Yup. You don't need a lot of MF. You just need killing speed. And with infy on merc, that it does. For cows I used clean Blizz with 15k blizz.

 

Just want to make quick update! So i made light sorc, and started doing countress runs. I got amazing donation of infinity, and now i am starting to gain the runes. Thanks everybody for help and tips!
