hey diablo 2 community i just have one question is it possible to get tyraels might from gambling?

yes, it's possible and at the same time nearly impossible . out of the ancient armor you will gamble around 5% will turn to sacred armor.. then the chance of that sacred armor to turn in a unique... lets just say tyrael's isn't something you go look for.. it just happens to pop

 

The items you receive will be from most common, to most rare: Magic Items, Rare, Sets, Uniques. Set and Unique Items are extremely rare. The chance for Uniques is 1 in 2,000 (0.05%) and 1 in 1,000 (0.10%) for Sets. The chance for Rares is 1 in 10 (10%). Magic Items are 1/~1.1 (89.85%).

Out of the Arreat Summit. The gambling armor with Edge runeword and Gheeds should cost around 350-400k gold. Of course, everything is RNG so you can gamble 5000 armors and still dont get one tm... Here's a friendly advice : gamble rings, amulets and coronets. Much more chance of finding something great. Cheers.

As oniq_tam mentioned, the chances for a unique to roll is 0.05%, compounded by the probability of that armor being elite as per http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/basics/gambling.shtml

Tyraels's Might has a qlvl of 87, with a level 99 character you should have a 4.96% chance of rolling a sacred armor. Compound that with the 0.05% chance to roll unique. I may not have fully understood the formula, so correct me if I'm wrong, but either way I think you're better off just farming lvl 85 areas.

 

I gambled a Griffon a few weeks back. Percentages are very very low. However, gambling Coronets and Circlets is a good way to spend gold, buying armors, however, is not. It would be a very , very stupid decision to go after a TM through Gambling.
