D2 Fail Stories

I thought it would be an interesting topic to share some of our fail stories from D2. I'll start it off with a couple:

I was gambling for circles one night, while also watching TV. After my inventory filled I was selling all the circles back to Gheed in the gambling window, and while looking at the TV I accidentally grabbed my Hoto and sold it. Being that I was in the gamble window, I couldn't even buy it back. Luckily it was only a lost vex, but nonetheless quite disappointing.

I was farming with my hammerdin one night, after quite a few drinks, and as I was teleing around and spamming hammers, my game client kept crashing. No error messages or anything, just closed completely without notice. This happened 3-4 times over the course of 30 mins, so I started to wonder if my client had broke somehow. It took me a solid half hour in my drunken stupor to realize I had tele hot keyed to F4, and as I was killing mobs I was pressing Alt to view the drops. Needless to say it was operator error and a major fail.

 

I was cubing a lvl99 GC, looking for a skiller or something good and cubed a 1Cold ~25life skiller. Happy about it and put it back to stash. another day I wanted to cube another gc and accidentally picked up the cold sk and cubed it.

I cryed for about half an hour

 

I will remember that lession when i saw Lo drop in trav upon save and quit.

 

My hammerdin playstyle is something like tiny leap (tp that is) + 2 hammers + repeat. Usually gets me more efficiency when surrounded by walls + boss packs. One of those runs i was already pressing save and exit when freaking hammer pwnd some random minion and sur dropped. Rip. Another fun story - put nagels and other mf craps on him and roam among act dungeons - Icy cellar to be exact. U know when teleporting randomnly without any significat vision - just bumped myself into like 4 Burning Soul bosspacks and got em like total of 15+ of those. My char freezed for like 0.5 sec and it was so beautiful death - like an instant.
Something fresh out of yesterday - made myself Forti (rolled it 2 times with decent stat) in Sacred armor 13%ed and i was with 3 Loaders opened. And i bring the item on the ground and saved and exit + Ultra fast closing the other window so RIP forti.

 

Hmm, I have managed to succesfully hire new mercenary while i didnt unequip the old one... And I managed to do that couple of times

Well so far since playing it was when you dropped the hate keys for me and I didn't realise and left the game to join your other game.

Damn it man. Give it to the Anonymous to put replenish mode without Gix noticing

 

I was trying on Corpsemourne near Malah and when i went to trade screen with Malah I sold my Amazon Templars to Malah instead of the Corpsemourne. The best part is there wasn't even room in Malah's inventory for the Templars to appear. Bye Bye Ama TM .

 

That's what u get for not buying him that Robin Hood outfit!
