I dont think you can drop griffon anywhere in cow lvl, since the area lvl of that location is only 81.

Only possibility (not completely sure about that) is that u vere rly lucky and cow king dropped it (with his lvl of 84), but I rly dont know, if monster doesnt have to be lvl 85 for these kind of drops... Some1 more familiar with this mechanics can probably enlighten me?

edit: never mind, since hell bovines are tclvl87, they are able to drop everything in the game..
