Need help! My runes are disappearing!!

This is my 2nd rune that has disappeared, the first being a Lo rune i left it in my cube after using 2 runes to make it, logged off for the night and the next day it was gone, this was a few weeks ago, today i noticed my Sur was missing off of my barb which was from a trade, (i dont leave runes in my cube anymore i thought that was the problem) it was in my stash, any advice suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

 

Also, it is a good idea to use a maphack that has a socket-lock feature so you dont accidentally put runes/gems/jewels in something.

 

Hmm, reminds me of the ancient times, where duped non permed runes were disappearing on bnet

 

I never experience lost of items.
However, I do notice a bug where you click too fast on transmute (horadric cube) you could pick up the background item (example when private stash window is open) before hitting it. The item that you accidentally pick up (by right, not suppose to happen) will dismiss by itself after transmute button is hit. I experienced twice so far.


[Post Merged] Just to add on. I am probably the only one playing from SE Asia with 300+ ping and the slight delay should had caused the bug I mentioned. I am quite sure as it happen to my Sur rune. My practice now is not put valuable items right behind the transmute button in my stash.

I've merged the two posts since you can use the edit button. You're not the only person playing from SE Asia, there are people playing from all over the world including SE Asia but if you say you found a way to avoid that issue you're experiencing that's great, thanks for the sharing it. The high ping, resources usage,e tc scenarios were used pretty often on retail servers to cheat the system while in private realms and specifically in here the security is much higher thus stopping any attempts of duplicating an item by mistake or on purpose.
