Best places to farm HR's?

I have question where do you think is the best place to find HR??

 

There is none. It just depends on your luck. I found a Ber rune on the 1st lvl of the countess tower today. Foud Zod on cows. You'll never know when you'll find a HR .
But if you rly want some particular places then i'd suggest: Halls of pain( my personal favourite + you can drop some nice uniqs), Ancient Tunnels, Cow lvl, Chaos Sanctuary, The Pits and Countess.

Lower kurast super chests, cows, ancient tunnels, pit

 

High runes are not dependant on MF. However is dependant on amount of mobs. So if you can get in a game has more people which will spawn more mobs thatd be best... However I like to farm countress and just cube stuff up. I've gotten my countress run down to 45 seconds

 

As others mentioned, best way to get HR is repeatedly clear locations with high density of weak mobs, which you can kill fast.

- cows
- nihitlak temple (especially with flayers inside)
- worldstone keep (again - flayers rules)
- flayer jungle (dropped cham there, the place is crawling with you know who)
- arcane sanctuary (look for specters)
- travincial (its quick and you can drop up to cham there, i believe)

And then there are some other places, not hard to farm, where you can beside hrs drop super rare uniques.

- ancient tunnels
- pit
- mausoleum
- chaos sanctuary

But basically, its all about killing many and many mobs, really.
Find location where your char is effective and which you like and farm it hard, you will get some results. Collect gems and jewels on the way - this will help you to get to your desired hrs quicker.

Cows and travincal work good for me but there are other places where you can look for HRs as others have mentioned.

 

Actually Lower kurast is The best Source of Highrunes in terms of players 8 because Surs from those chests have 11 drop patterns and 3 ber drop patterns.Ber is not Rarer than Lo in terms of players 8 mode lower kurast superchest. So Imo Lower kurast Is the best for highrunes on P8 mode only. Exception thing is Jah+cham and zod wont drop from those chests

Travincial On players 3 is 2nd Best way to get highrunes as well as i heard people getting Highrunes effectively on p3 trav
I myself Found Jah During p3 Game in travincial.

3rd best way is Cow levels 400 to 500 cows on p1 mode per game! And they drop at least 5 or10 runes and maybe that 1 rune would have great chances to be Highrune.

 

you necro a thread from january to post something that is not helping anyone, maybe different place that is not very common but not secret for sure. You farm in act 1 or 2 maybe?

Hlvl runes can drop anywhere,just kill mobs ans open chests on your way

 

OK... just kill all enemy at Tal Rasha Tomb ,especially wraith. n kill all monsters on Flayer Jungle . Fastly better

 

@dawid000 I recommend Santuary of chaos & Cow hell. Tested for me. best places! and pit sometimes and pit is a good area to gather runes and items. Countess drops sometimes but i don't like to much.
