Yesterday my new bowzon cleared RoF in Hell for the first time and dropped a Mal rune from the Hellforge.

I'm mostly happy that I managed to put together a Hell viable bowie in just a week after joining the server. I have to thank the various players who gave me freebies -- a Razortail, Gores, Atma's and Shako. Also a shoutout to Meph for dropping a Ravenfrost. She managed this wielding a Riphook and wearing Silks of the Victor and Gravepalm xD

The combination of a Defiance merc and Kelpie Snare (Slow Target 75%) turns out to be devastatingly effective; the Holy Freeze merc dies too quickly. With enough mana leech you don't need Insight as long as you don't put too many points in Strafe/Multi (after level 10 the increased mana cost outweighs any increase in effectiveness IMHO).

Next step I guess is to hunt for white Archon Plates and +3 Matriarchial Bows and roll sockets in the cube until I get what I want.
